By august - most likely, not possible . It takes min about 2 months - lot of go&forthe process(passport), so if u r planning in aug, not a good idea to apply OCI now. Instead, go for Visa on Arrival option. Quote

Fire0007 Posted June 8, 2019 Report Posted June 8, 2019 Dont apply for OCI if yow plan to settle down long term in US. Visa is vaid for 10 years and no need to reissue if you get a new passport. OCI is only given until validity of passport 5 years max for children. Every 5 years you need to apply for pp & oci Quote
