Go for a good area. Even if it’s a little expensive. Tondaraga rates drop avvavu and easy to sell when needed. Also monthly payments ekkuva difference radhu 30 year loan ki. School zone, neighborhood important. If you have enough money...go for bigger down payment...interests waste kakunda vuntayi. Loan...you can check online and talk to mortgage lenders and Banks to compare.

Nen monna ne chesina bro after renting for 9 years. First I selected Indian community. Did my own research so that will help in negotiating the realtor commission otherwise they will give 1.5%. If you select the neighborhood then chances are you might get 2% commission back from realtor. I wouldn’t say immediately start talking to lenders. Get the preapproval. Then lock the house by paying 5% to your comfortable range. 30 day before lock the interest rates.

Interest rates are very good now. You will be lucky if you can get a home you like soon

Simple bayya first home decide avvu thru broker or own. Then see any desi agent in your area (he will take care everything after you submit documents and get better rate). Direct ga bank daggariki povaddu. This is my experience from buying 2 homes. ( one with bank high rate...etc). Desi will tell whatever stupid qn or valid qn if we ask

Slight correction. Go to bankofamerica for home loans directly. No one in market beats their interest rates. Experience tho chebuthunna.
