snoww Posted July 9, 2019 Report Posted July 9, 2019 2 minutes ago, snoww said: moodu lakshala bharatheeyulaki vemdabe green cards isthunna trump government అమెరికా కాంగ్రెస్లో కొత్త బిల్లు.. ఇది పాసైతే 90 శాతం గ్రీన్ కార్డులు భారతీయులకే.. వాషింగ్టన్: గ్రీన్ కార్డుల జారీలో కంట్రీ క్యాప్ను తీసేస్తూ రూపొందించిన బిల్లు మంగళవారం అమెరికా కాంగ్రెస్కు రానుంది. ఈ బిల్లు కనుక చట్టంగా మారితే ముఖ్యంగా భారతీయులకు ఎక్కువ లాభం జరగనుంది. అమెరికాలో హెచ్1-బీ వీసాతో పనిచేస్తూ గ్రీన్ కార్డు కోసం వేచి చూసే వారిలో భారతీయులే ఎక్కువ. అంతేకాకుండా భారతీయులకు గ్రీన్ కార్డు రావడానికి పదేళ్లకు పైగా సమయం పడుతోంది. ఎందుకంటే గ్రీన్ కార్డును జారీ చేయడానికి ప్రతి దేశానికి ఇంత కోటా అని ఉంటుంది. ప్రస్తుతం ఏ దేశానికైనా ఏడు శాతం గ్రీన్కార్డులను జారీ చేయాలనే కంట్రీ క్యాప్ అమలులో ఉంది. గ్రీన్ కార్డులకు దరఖాస్తు చేసే వారిలో సింహభాగం భారతీయులదే అయినప్పటికీ.. కంట్రీ క్యాప్ కారణంగా కొద్ది మందికి మాత్రమే గ్రీన్ కార్డు లభిస్తోంది. ఈ బిల్లు చట్టంగా మారితే ఇకపై కంట్రీ క్యాప్ అనేది ఉండదు. ఇదే కనుక జరిగితే రానున్న పదేళ్లలో 90 శాతానికి పైగా గ్రీన్ కార్డులు కేవలం భారతీయులే పొందుతారని యూఎస్ ఇమ్మిగ్రేషన్ అండ్ ఎన్ఫోర్స్మెంట్ అధికారులు చెబుతున్నారు. అయితే ఈ బిల్లుపై అమెరికా అధ్యక్షుడు డొనాల్డ్ ట్రంప్ సంతకం చేయాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ఇప్పటికే అమెరికా ఫస్ట్ అనే నినాదంతో భారతీయులపై గుర్రుగా ఉన్న పెద్దన్న.. ఈ బిల్లుకు అంగీకారం తెలుపరని విశ్లేషకులు భావిస్తున్నారు. కాంగ్రెస్లోని 435 హౌస్ ఆఫ్ రిప్రజెంటేటివ్స్లో 310 మంది(డెమొక్రాట్లు-203, రిపబ్లికంట్లు-108) ఇప్పటికే బిల్లుకు మద్దతు పలికారు. సహజంగా బిల్లుకు 290 ఓట్లు లభిస్తే హియరింగ్, సవరణలు లేకుండానే బిల్లు పాసైపోతుంది. మరి ఈ బిల్లు సంగతి ఏమవుతుందో వేచి చూడాలి.
