it’s a house bill. Senate bill is S.386. Which(S.386) Is a companion version of house bill HR1044 in senate bill.

1044 lo 2 aspects unnayi kada.

1. Removal of per country cap of 7% on employment based GCs.

2. Increase family cap from 7 to 15%.

Ultimate intention of both is to clear the backlogs, by adjusting the caps (not by increasing the GCs by any means).

This means more GCs for IND and China and more people waiting in the line will get GCs, which obviously will have impact on IT field.

In the contrary, with the status-quo rule, more non-it people from ROW would take the lion’s share and give tough time to low-wage citizens of USA.
