Well they are actually helping with that technology so what's wrong in taking some credit for it? Wouldn't ISRO have said anything if that were not to be the case?

 I never said its Wrong .... I just told the meaning behind the tweet...They are helping with deep space communications ... So that are trying to take the credit and see its doesnt go unnoticed .. and India gets full credit

Yes because they are a small part of that success as well. India would have done the same if ISRO were to lend help to another space agency.

You think that but the USA sanctioned Russia when they were about to transfer rocket tech to ISRO. ISRO had to build rockets on its own and it set us back 20 years in terms of space exploration.
