We even lost some land for yellampelli project.. left over.. lands are getting water.. we use to depend on   borewells....  ee year  borewells loo water levu.. luckily on time...  we got water from kaleswaramproject.....   we grow paddy, and vegetables(mainly tomatoes, sold directly to hyd market vendors)....   recently these hyd vendors asked to grow us lettuce for sub way chain restaurants.

mental I know JP,  met many times..  he often comes to our relatives in vivekananda nagar kukatpally.. appu ra..  babu... my relative he even argue. with him. , nuvu video chusavu.. we meet him regularly... his calculation fails if project goes successful and reaches farmers.. Luckily he is not KammaVadhi..  he hates caste sim....  many times he was invited to kamma community meetings.. to talk in ameerpet kamma sangham building.. as usual he rejected it.

If we come up with more solar,  hydro and wind power based electricity , then it won't be a burden on the state in terms of money. Energy is renewable but the same cannot be said for fresh water. The proper way to look at kaleshwaram is to improve and develop solar power plants and wind power mills rather than criticizing such an engineering marvel.

in 2002 when YSR was moving forward with PRanahitha, chevella  lift irrigation project KCR opposed it very badly and told this is going to cheat TG people in the name of project and JP suported KCR during then,

now this same badcow KCR did the same lift irrigation project and even now JP is opposing it becuase it is a loss to farmers.

Don't always compare water with money vuncle.  Your point might be right, iam not disagreeing.  But just look at chennai in last summer,  they have enough money,  but cannot buy water with money.  So,  it's ok,  plain comparison of water to money doesn't sound convincing. Give some other sensible data.
