Reservation of 75% to locals - this is going to hit the industry real hard, irrespective of skilled labor available or not, its the mindset of the business community who would try to keep other options open. 2. Stopped promoting Amaravathi - Amaravathi was promoted as the backbone of the state, building a capital city from scratch has its own pros & cons, but at the end of the day investors have to see a proper infrastructure at least in the administrative or trade capital city to boost confidence - or else real estate prices needs to be cheap at least. (pros: inflation of real estate prices, insider tradings, capitalization of large pieces of land, favoritism etc; cons - new style development, proper sanitation & treatment plants, advanced technology etc) 3. Cancellation of Povalaram project to Navayuga - without proper arrangement's for re-tendering (or) getting enough numbers on how much would be the revised rates, this is got lot of criticism, if the government does not get better bids or if the project does not progress in smooth/brisk way. My expectation is even though the project was given based on nomination method, the prices might still go up because of inflation, labor costs and base product expenditure. 4. Too many Freebies + Village administrators concept - When the state government is going to deficit budget, it would be hard to concentrate of less-mile welfare schemes with these many freebies coming into picture, this would create lot of pressure of treasury benches. Combining it with village administrators for these welfare schemes has high probability of favoritism & party-centric development. 5. Ban on alcohol - Two major revenue for any state government is "stamps & registration" & "Excise", with the real-estate prices being very inflated, registrations have become brim, and now with stopping excise tax, it would be become more complicated. I am not a TDP fan (or) YSRCP fan, these are "my personal" observations from last 3 months, and it would good if government works for betterment of people rather than self-esteem of personalities.
