Really? Then what the point of living if someone else tells you what to do and what not to do? Sure I hear things from my parents and husband but I do things that I want to do. When I get old, I don't want to regret something I did or something I didn't because someone told me to do so.

They want you to feel like it is also your responsibility to make the same choices that they make.

I am sure I will regret things in the future too, but I want to be able to blame myself for them. I don't want to have a reason to blame someone else for my shortcomings because I didn't make my own decisions.
