user789
How much ~ savings ($) - overall (401k+ savings in the account) one should have before retiring that would cover health expenses for husband/wife and kids( 1 or 2) education and also vacations in Vomerica ? It depends on the state but lets focus on major states like CA, TX, NJ, Atlanta, Florida. Not considering house payment as it would be covered/paid off with $ salary. Meow
$750k, if you use about 40k per year in expenses at 4%, you can retire at 35. Remember that rich people live below their means.
