Whether it crash landed or anything its unknown but they found it out not able to communicate as of now with it...

Landing ayithe eppudo ayinatte ga here in the what TS has mentioned is misleading no @3$%

Damaal ayyi kuda undachu ga after 2.1 kms lost connection ayinappudu blast ayyi undachu ga.. But it landed in one piece Atleast increase a minor chance to re-establish connection..

2.1 kms nunchi gravity tho crash land ithe, may not be as intense as you think it would be .... coz gravity on moon is 1/6th of that of on earth.

After considering 1/6th telling.  2.1 km is huge distance when gravity accelarats the falling. Vikram wieght - 1471 kg, Lander wieght - 27 kg.

Total Wieght - ‭1,498 kg‬

Moon Gravity - 1.62 m/s

Velocity gained =  82.49 m/s2 (square)

Force = 82.486362509205  J or 1.41561 KWH

I don't think it will function.

Consdering, the moon atmosphere is very thin, considered the air resistance. 9390 km/h velocity. The force generated hitting 1498 kg object on the moon surface.

It was actually programmed/made for soft landing but due to some tech glitch may be didn't happen as per plan in the last few kms when it started deviating from actual desired path.. They were able to  trace it thats a positive sign guess next 2 weeks could be important how this goes ahead...

Due to gravity edhaina land avuthadhi man. Crash land or soft land important. 2.1km  nundi crash land ante kastam. Ala kakunda first communication fail ayyaka, its managed to soft land, thats good news. Lander has AI to do that. Establishing communication will complete the whole mission.

ya correct point but wish it will start communication
