 This is just listening to the Conservative podcasts last night. Hugr discusiion on this on the podcasts

nope , he only have 10 days to sign if congress is in session , if he does not then it will be automatically law .  congress will have sessions every day  . during break they will have dummy sessions .

But still congress has to vote on the amendment changes made in the senate as s386 is tied to hr 1044. That will remove the veto proof of the bill. See the reg info site on the unanimous consent of two bill are tied together

yes president can still veto it . to override veto congress again need to vote on bill with super majority
