It is all up to uncle Mitch if he wants to bring this bill to the floor. Based on republican agenda for their 27 senators legal immigration is 7 on the totem pole for their agenda. Their priority is border wall. Also the sad part is if this bill passes it is a victory for kamala harris and i think Mitch and Potus do not want that

This is just part of the lobbying industry. Chicago especially the demographics are unfavourable to indians. CHINESE INVESTMENTS are way high in chicago and both the senators will heed to them. Most of the indian demographics in chicago are settled doctors and businessman who support the republicans
