How would basic human need to socialize suffice? Lets, say, you didn't marry, stayed alone. Whom would you share your feelings (Love, happiness, sadness, anger etc)? This is basic human need and you cannot replace it with something else. You need a partner in life. As far as marriage is considered, you don't need one if you have a partner in conventional sense. But, the advantage of marriage is that marriage gives stability/trust to a relationship. Yes, you have many options to sex, if you just think it as physical interaction between two people. Would you get mental stimuli (Passionate) with that kind of sex? 1 2 Quote
