Info required on h4 ead

I am going for h1b extension in a month.

My wife's current h4 ead is will expire in 3 months.

1. Can I apply h4 ead along with my h1b premium?

2. Will we get h4 ead extension extention immediately once my h1b is approved ?

3. Currently she is working, can she continue working during her h4 ead extension if company accepts. Will there be any issues.

H1 will be approved and h4 will be delayed by 8-9 month’s could be more.

Yes

Approvals are not tied to each other. H4EAD approval can take up to 4-6 months.

 

3. Currently she is working, can she continue working during her h4 ead extension if company accepts. Will there be any issues.

Legally she is not allowed to work until she gets her extension. Future immigration benefits can be denied if caught.

If you File ext together on premium,

you will get ext  in 2weeks for both

Apply H1, H4 and EAD together (not premium)

wait for H4 biometrics to complete and then upgrade H1 to premium.

 

This may speedup H4 ead.

For us, it took 5 months to get H4 and EAD approval. Initially filed Premium
