In the last 25 years not even one immigration related bill passed through the Senate through UC.. Before Durbin's amendments there was a 5 to 10% chance. Now with all his EAD 5hit and 50:50 employer 5hit it will be impossible to pass this bill through UC.. The chances of a miracle like this happening in an election year is not even zero, probably in the negatives somewhere.. 1 Quote

I believe in the effort everybody has put to make this bill palatable to both parties. All holds on this bill were worked out sooner or later. And we have one whole year before it is officially dead.
