krldr871 Posted September 6, 2010 Author Report Posted September 6, 2010 1st question..proxies gurinchi aithe..Proxies are meant for shielding computers or making sure that the destination does not know the originating ip address..in general proxies vaadedi, either block ayina services ni access cheyadaniki..like for example social networking sites youtube etc..or use as a shield..local lan lo systems internet connect avvadaniki proxy use cheyaychu..and many more uses..i dont think it is possible for the destination to know the ip unless the service is bound by the ip address..2ns question lo..yes the proxy server definitely knows ur ip address..so it can ofcourse display it or pass it on to some third party..its not really advisable to use proxy servers that u dont know whether to trust or not..ill explain abt tht in a minute..
