MetroPCS is bought by T Mobile. It is now called Metro by T mobile. It uses T Mobile towers. They do have the plans you are asking for. If not this, I would recommend Xfinity. They use Verizon towers. Talk and text are free but you need to pay for data bro.

You definitely need to have internet connection . I tried to take this and finally ended up with visible which is horrible .

Yes i used mint for an year . Simple . Online activation and it asks if you want to keep the number .
