Lets us assume all those stats are true and almost 100 million tonnes of paddy is produced. Lets assume that tg farmers are getting MSP on all of those 100 million tonnes no loss nothing. Usually it is very less. that means total farmer earning is 18000 crores.

Now rythu bandhu alone costs state government 12000 crores. Electricity subsidy to farmers another 5500 crores. Lift irrigation for kaleswaram alone at full capacity is 10000 crores. ante total state government spend  that too just annual spend (not interest on infra and all that ) is 27000 crores.

This does not include farmer kashtam, the money he spends, central govt subsidies. Also half of that rice will be sold outside of Telangana that means half of those subsidies will be enjoyed by non - Tgites.

Basically this is total waste ...there is saying in english ..purchasing yourself a job. Ante langa state is simply paying for this not earning from this.

United AP was best - water vaddanna vasthayi coastal lo. Agri there and industrialiaztion in tg would have created nice balanced dev. Kaani jai shankar laanti picchi pook gallani nammi NTR laanti vallani thitte vallavi ittage vuntai consequences.

Its fine. In future, those farmers kids will move to other areas of work. 

agriculture everywhere is unsustainable unless the water is easily available. its fine if govt spends so people feel better.

paddy production in AP dipped.

but the conversation has to be around quantum of water that is allocated to both states, and if KCR is robbing AP of its water. or if AP farmers have found more lucrative business ventures to do.
