Keep this up for a couple of months and you will not only get out of the tunnel but also develop a ‘Will of Steel’ That's what I do, working 14 hours a day. Quote

The minute a person starts journey of self discovery, he/she is fcuked. this guy's problems are purely about his work. he's not depressed at all. You're not wrong. Quote

Take some short trip all alone, enjoy your own self. Try running, it works like miracle. Change the style of dressing, the way u look. These work for me. Quote

I said you gotta do some activity that you really love or something which gives you a sense of calm. You can’t expect to be happy when you are doing something you don’t like but you do it because of money or some other reason. Sometimes you got to choose if you wanna chase something on account of losing peace. Well, it’s your life and I cannot be a judge of that but since you asked for a lil advice, I thought of sharing my view. Life is too short to worry and also Life is too big to get troubled by lil trivial worries. Good luck ! 1 Quote

Self discovery has got nothing to do with marriage and you don’t have a slightest idea about what discovering oneself is. Kalam always asked the young minds to unleash one’s own potential which is discovering oneself. Ramana Maharshi insisted on discovering oneself which would unleash the potential in oneself which is embracing the paramatman in oneself. Your explanation about marrying wont help one to solve ones problems holds good but your view on self discovery is misplaced in this context and is not relevant. On the contrary discovering oneself helps you get all the answers Quote

Your explanation about marrying wont help one to solve ones problems holds good but your view on self discovery is misplaced in this context and is not relevant. On the contrary discovering oneself helps you get all the answers my response was casually (poorly) structured. Also I used the wrong phrase 'self discovery'. I don't think there is anything worthy of discovering in oneself. I meant to say trying to find out how social systems work, and what your place (which is mostly the reason for depression in humans) in it is a depressing journey to indulge in, and none of your loved ones could save you if embark on it. I don't subscribe to any belief that puts self over others. human beings are extremely limited (atleast right now) in their capacity to live within themselves. No idea what Ramana Maharshi said. 1 Quote
