Telangana per capita income is already past Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu , Gujarat : fact. In other words , at least as far as industrialisation is concerned , the said states should strive to catch up to Telangana , not vice versa.

dig into the wiki link where you got that info from.

TG per capita was always very high. even under united AP.about 20% higher than Andhra. The gap has actually narrowed after bifurcation.

again, I am not making any claims about bifurcation, except that the comparison is unfair.

TG was always rich and highly performing region, and didn't become one only after the bifurcation, is the reality.

in fact AP may be closing the gap after bifurcation. but still a long way to go.

TG is not highly industrialised. Not even close. Its mostly services. but ofcourse, it doesn't matter. anything that works.

just saying though. TG can improve on industrializing itself, if it wants to.

or be the data plateau of India if it wnts to be. either way comparing itself with Andhra is a joke.
