Reg Green card process initiation

HI ,

 

I am currently working in company A where my current H1B is approved till March 31st 2020.My company A is applying extension for me now.Wanted to check if my green card process can also be initiated after applying my extension or should I wait until I get an approved extension and then only start my green card process?

 

Experts please help..

You can start your green card process wheneverr you want 

 

Gc is independent of h1b or any other visa..you can file it while on f1 with a valid work experience
