Seven new cases reported in Andhra Pradesh today

The Andhra Pradesh government was quoted as saying by India Today that seven new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the state on Monday. Of these, the report said that three are reported in Guntur and four in Nellore. The total tally is now at 439 in the state.

Six new COVID-19 cases reported in Nagpur today

Reports said that six more cases of corona virus were reported in Maharashtra's Nagpur on Monday, taking the tally to 47 in the city.

"Three of them and seven out of Sunday's 17 COVID-19 positive patients were stated to be from Jabalpur taking the tally of travellers from Jabalpur contracting the disease to ten. All of them were also said to be linked to the Tablighi meet held in Delhi last month," The Indian Express reported.

34 new COVID-19 cases reported in Gujarat

The Gujarat health department on Monday said that 34 new corona virus cases were reported in the state, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 572, of which 56 have been discharged, 26 deceased, 484 in stable condition and 8 patients are on ventilator.

5 more COVID-19 cases reported in Jharkhand today

The Jharkhand government on Monday said that five more cases of COVID-19 were reported in Jharkhand, of which three are from Ranchi's Hindpiri, one each from Bokaro and Giridih. Total number of positive cases in the state rises to 24.

93 new COVID-19 cases reported in Rajasthan

The Rajasthan health department said that 93 new corona virus cases were reported in the state on Monday, including two evacuees. Of these, seven were reported in in Banswara, 11 in Bharatpur, three in Dausa, 29 in Jaipur, 31 in Jodhpur, nine in Kota, one in Jhalawar.

Total number of positive cases in the state rises to 897.

352 new COVID-19 cases reported in Maharashtra today

PTI on Monday reported that 352 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra in 24 hours, taking tally to 2,334, while toll rose to 160.

Spain eases lock down restrictions, toll crosses 17,000

Spain, one of the countries worst hit by the global corona virus epidemic, on Monday started to ease tough lock down restrictions that have kept people confined to their homes for more than a month and put a brake on economic activity, Reuters reported.

Spain’s cumulative death toll from the corona virus rose to 17,489 on Monday, up 517 from 16,972 on Sunday, the Spanish health ministry said. Confirmed cases totalled 169,496, up from 166,019 the previous day.

However, this was the smallest proportional daily increase in the number of deaths and new infections.

A 56-year old woman, a family member of an already positive case and a 38-year-old woman have tested positive for COVID19 on Tuesday, as the total number of positive cases in Mohali rise to 56, Mohali Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan told ANI.

1211 new cases and 31 deaths reported in the last 24 hours in India, says health ministry

A total number of 10,363 cases of corona virus have been reported in India. So far, 339 people have succumbed to the infection in the country, while 1,035 patients have been cured. There are 8,988 active cases in the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 

The ministry also said that 1211 new cases and 31 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours.

Six fresh cases, 2 deaths reported in Dharavi

Six more COVID-19 positive cases and two more deaths related to the virus reported in Dharavi area of Mumbai on Tuesday reported ANI. The total positive cases in the area is now at 55 and related deaths at seven, said Brihan mumbai Municipal Corporation
