It represents 36 percent of our capacity. 123 labs have been made functional, 49 private labs have been given permission. Yesterday 399 patients were tested in private labs." "With respect to the Nizabackn area, we all need to understand and appreciate that this is not the time to do fault finding. Kool_SRG Posted March 31, 2020 Author Report Posted March 31, 2020 35 travellers to Mecca booked for flouting home-quarantine instructions Uttar Pradesh Police on Tuesday registered a case against 35 people who recently returned to the Pilibhit town from a pilgrimage to Mecca, alleging that they had flouted home-quarantine instructions after two of them tested positive for coronavirus, PTI reported. The group had travelled to Saudi Arabia on 'umrah' and arrived in Mumbai on 20 March where airport officials stamped them as suspected coronavirus patients and advised them home-quarantine. The group, however, used a spray to erase the stamps from their hands and took a train to Bareilly and then reached Pilibhit using different means of transport. The group was booked under the Epidemic Diseases Act after two of them, a woman and her son, tested positive for COVID-19 and the chief medical officer lodged an FIR. Quote
