Officials in India accept fault after videos emerge of workers being sprayed with disinfectant

The district magistrate of Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, India, ordered action against officials who sprayed the group of migrant workers with bleach. The chief fire officer then said that the chemical solution was intended for buses, not people.

"The disinfectants have chemicals. These should not be used on humans... should not come in contact with eyes. This video is being investigated. We don't know if the disinfectants were directly sprayed on them...The sanitisation is being done by officials of the municipal corporation.
