They are super slow for sure but paperwork is pakka . Yeah in this scenario premium might have really helped .

Yes. On pending H1 extension we can work for 8 months. After that we can still stay in the country, but can't work.

I think this was rumor created by Indian news . Uscis clarified it never changed the rules .
