DummyVariable Posted April 29, 2020 Report Posted April 29, 2020 @Salam_Rocky_Bhai You can do max 40 hrs of both jobs on h1, but both clients should be reported on your h1 app I think. Illegally don’t do it bro. IRS vaadiki dorikithe maathram nuvvu assam avuthaavu. USCIS will also punish you. Endhukochchina godava.. Quote

Most companies will have rules to not work in two places. If they allow it then well and good. But don’t trick the IRS by doing payroll fraud - esp unreported income. It will stick forever. IRS will go back and investigate things that took place years ago as well. Yeppudo chesanu ippudu cheyatledhu ani happy feel avvadaaniki kooda undadhu. These sort of things are dangerous. One anonymous report in form 3949a will land you in a lot of trouble. GC meedha mee companies allow chesthe and if you are reporting your income correctly then there shouldn’t be a problem. Quote

But how will it impact if there is no payroll running on my name. Another employer can run on my wife or some other opt friend right? Will it still be an issue too Quote

AndhraneedSCS Posted April 29, 2020 Report Posted April 29, 2020 2 things: 1) If your 2nd company is not running payroll, you are technically NOT WORKING for them. 2) You have to get consent from Employer 1 (based on their policies) as most companies don't let you work for their competitors while working for them. Extra money just like that vachchindhante IRS will not believe that. Quote
