wrangler holds heighest resale value. 
I’m wrangler owner and it’s awesome. But I always suggest buy models after 2018 it’s called JL. 

jeep line lo grand cheroke and wrangler are awesome rest crap.

I currently have a 2020 JLU Sport S 3.6. It's lot better than my 2009 JK Sport. More comfortable drive and much more refined 8 speed auto trans. I didn't take it to offroading yet but it's good driving 80+ MPH which was not the case in my older JK. 

One thing to note is some new JLUs have serious steering wheel issues. Always test ride for an hour and buy the same Jeep u test ride to avoid headaches dealing with those issues. 

I would wait few more years as 2.0 turbo is newer and time will tell if there are any serious problems.
