Earned enough but still insecure

I have earned enough for my age in US, Could afford to buy a house. Have savings and ancestral property but still I feel insecure.

I still feel this is not enough and I am lagging behind others. I want to earn more to keep upto others. I know I can live happily with

my earning for the rest of my life but don't know why I want to work more and earn more. Is it a greed, peer pressure, Social pressure,

increase net worth etc. Dont know what.
