Maruti was initially a PSU. Danni liberalize chesesariki Suzuki bought major share. So, Maruti Suzuki got into innovation, and they sustained. Ambassador was lost in time.

Bajaj ni Pulsar brand nilabettindi. Leda adi kuda poyedi. Today Bajaj sells more Pulsars outside India than within India. Deenni copy kotti China vodu Gulsar ani bike start chesadu :D But Bajaj also did mistakes. Rajiv bajaj felt that there is no market left for scooters. So, he didn't work on innovation in scooters. This was taken over by Honda and Activa is a massive hit in India. 

Seriously, I wonder what went wrong with Hindustan Motors, they had potential to be the GM of India.Private sector, market leader in brands and in fact Monopoly in the segment..these guys worked with Morris Garages and Ford back in the 60's and developed engine and suspension...these guys has exposure to other markets and atlantidi I wonder why they were struck with just ambassador and contessa...they could have tie up with other car makers and introduced newer models and new tech..

Bajaj kuda they did not had motor cycle technology until they tied up with Kawasaki and bought their first bike, KB 125, a 125 cc bike, then they learnt the technology and started making their own bikes and now they are market leader in their  sphere.  Chetak successful ayindi kada ani nidrapoi vunte ipatiki dukanam bandh chesetollu.

Same thing with Hero Honda...they capitalized and they have their own brand now...Hero Moto Corp....

Yamaha also started big with Escorts but Yamaha tried to control Escorts but failed and they are left with nothing until 2012's and Escorts have completely exited the segment.

Kinetic Motors, Kinectic Honda successful ayindi kada ani nidrapothe, 3 years lo market nundi lechipoinaru...segment leader for 30 years and it took Activa about 5 years to knock out Kinetic Honda completely out of their sphere...

'కంపెనీ షట్‌డౌన్‌ తాత్కాలికమే. మిగులు భూమిని అమ్మడం ద్వారా సుమారు రూ.50 కోట్లు సమీకరించుకోవాలనుకుంటున్నాం. ఆ తర్వాత  తిరికి కార్యకలపాలను పునరుద్ధరిస్తామ'ని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు. జూన్‌ 3న ఫ్యాక్టరీని కంపెనీ మూసివేసింది. యాదృచికంగా  అదే రోజు ప్రపంచ సైకిళ్ల దినోత్సం కావడం గమనార్హం. 

ఇక మిగిలిన 431 మంది ఉద్యోగులకు కూడా కంపెనీ తొలగించింది. అయినప్పటికీ వారిని సంస్థలో కొనసాగిస్తామని, రోజువారీ హాజరు ఆధారంగా లే-ఆఫ్‌ వేతనాలు చెల్లిస్తామని రాణా పేర్కొన్నారు.  దేశంలో అతిపెద్ద ప్లాంట్ 1989లో ప్రారంభమైంది.  ప్రతినెలా రెండు లక్షల సైకిళ్ల ఉత్పత్తితో అట్లాస్ సైకిల్‌  చివరి  ప్లాంట్ ఇదే. ఎలాంటి నోటీసులు లేకుండా ఫ్యాక్టరీని మూసివేశారని ఉద్యోగులు ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.

If I remember correctly, Kapil Dev had a major share in Kinetic. They tried their hand in bikes, like Kinetic Boss, but failed. Indian Cricket League ani start chesadu. adi kuda poyindi.

That is how business is. Who would have expected in 2008 that Nokia would be irrelevant in 2018? Same with Anil Ambani. From several billions he came down to a few millions. He had a huge loan to pay off, which he couldn't. Mukesh Ambani bailed him out. Leda inko pedda NPA problem vachedi. 

People don't understand how important private sector is. Modi ni disinvestment chestadani criticize chestaru. But its actually important. Most of the PSUs are inefficient. Worldwide ga aviation sector lo on an average every flight has 120 workers. 1:120 ratio. Air India ki this ration is 1:270. Less than 50 efficient. How can they ever run on profits?
