1) Please read about global two wheeler market, esp. South America, Africa.. and how it changed in the last few years. Bajaj, TVS etc.

2) Airtel. 

3) Paytm is another global brand.

4) Several clothing brands

5) Several companies in service sector

It doesn’t matter if India invented something or not. Acquired brands are owned by INDIA and belong to India. Once acquired, they become Indian brands. Money spent on acquiring those brands has value too - just as money spent on inventing something new. Many brands get acquired and never get built new.

just imagine an Indian company acquiring foreign brands! That is something.

Not a good defense. International brands are household names, Google, Twitter, Apple, even Starbucks....do you find any Indian companies with strong international presence?
