Your 50-60 year old mom has seen enough in her life, conceived you, raised you, made you a success and had a good life. Your wife is young, not seen enough, if you have kids it is your joint responsibility to raise them both, if not it is time to make some kids... Your spouse is the only person who is going to stay with you forever and go with you wherever you go. If you go to America, your spouse will follow you.
