The foundation stone for Ram Mandir at Ayodhya is laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi some time back. In a grand manner and with tight measures of Corona, the event took place. After the ceremony, Modi addressed the gathering and added Ram Mandir will become the modern symbol of our traditions.

“It is my good fortune that I was invited to witness this historical moment… From Kanyakumari to Kshirbhavani, from Koteshwar to Kamakhya, from Jagannath to Kedarnath, Somnath to Kashi Vishwanath, today entire country is immersed in Lord Ram. A grand temple will now be built for our Lord Ram who had been staying in a tent for decades. Today Ram janmbhoomi breaks free of the cycle of breaking and getting built again which had been going on for centuries,” said Modi.

Adding, “Ram Mandir will become a symbol of our tradition, devotion, and our national sentiment. This temple will also symbolise the power of crores of people. It will keep inspiring the future generations. We’ll have to keep everyone’s sentiments in mind. We’ve to ensure everyone’s development with support & trust of all.”

UP CM Yogi Adityanath who was the second chief guest, credited PM Modi for Ram Mandir. “Ram Temple’s dream fulfilled through peaceful means due to PM Modi,” said Yogi.

At the same event, PM Modi released a commemorative postage stamp on the ‘Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir’ which was exclusively designed.
