its a term.. lol.  contradictions are there in every religion yeah... christianity is full of various splinter groups but none of them control the state and depend on the staste for survival.

Islamic groups control states in many countries and end up with various islamic groups that challenge their rule. Same will happen to India if Hindutva keeps insisting to mix religion with governance.

at some point, Hindus will form various splinter groups and there will be constant fighting like in the middle east.

I'm not a liberal in the sense that I'm not a pacifist sure. I don't care and not squeamish about violence.

Where is Hinduism depending on state support? where is the state supporting Hinduism? We have been independent for a long time. 

The State gives haj yatra support, Jeruslam yatra support etc etc. kasi yatralaku support ichara? 

Islam once it becomes more than 30-40% of a population demands complete control of all aspects of society, financial, Military etc. Complete domination. Christianity used to do that in the Middle Ages, where they controlled everything. Europe grew out of it.

Hindus were never one big group, we have always been splintered. But we have not fought each other since a real long time. 

No body is squeamish about a fight. But i dont believe in an Armageddon.

Its good if Hinduism depends on state support. But it looks like the tables are turning in India with certain  bhakti traditions (say Ram bhakti) within Hindus trying to control the state.Its a recipe for disaster, because there will be other groups within hinduism that will rise to challenge this.
