If she is siding with her family so badly and made you incur huge losses, it only means she never treated you as a family member but just as a money lender.

Yeah, recording her threats is a good idea if it legal to do, it’s not legal to record private conversations in the US.

I don't want to leave.. To file a case ,I already paid 1.5lac lawyer fees. My wife is not supporting to get documents. If I ask anything, she simply says I don't know anything. She simply said do urself. I m getting angry by listening this. Then fight starts. She will start threatening and packing bags to leave..
