You have a culture because that's what you grew up in, no one is asking you to assimilate. You can be your own. But your kids will have a different culture because they will have some aspects from your culture, some aspects from your wife's culture and some aspects from the place they grew up in, in other words a melting pot that doesn't resemble either of your cultures anymore. Over generations, it becomes cultural assimilation.

I don't know a single desi morons who support a tweet like that, and it's really hard to even take that person who tweeted it seriously. I am thinking she's a troll if anything, and not more. But I guess you might have known a lot of people who support tweets such as those, I won't be surprised. The only person who I think would be happy looking at a tweet like that would be an idiot like Kumar uncle.

She is clearly complaining that third world immigrants don’t assimilate. Assimilation is the adoption of behaviors and mannerisms of some other group and here she means immigrants not adopting american culture. If she is asking for cultural assimilation, she should define what it is. What is american culture? What is american behavior and what are american values? Also make it legal so that others will follow it. If you are not going to define it and don’t have any law then there is no point in complaining.

That's what I said, it's based on cultural assimilation of the immigrants. Previously, majority of the immigrants were of European descent, so a lot of festivals that Europeans celebrate. Thanksgiving from Canada, Halloween from Mexico, everything that defines American culture is based on cultural assimilation, except for the very first Thanksgiving meal though.

I would be happy if she was a troll. She is a ducking senate nominee and her tone just adds fuel to the fire. I would be still fine if it was a subtle hint for third world immigrants that you can never be us. She just bluntly put a discriminating statement and doesn't even think about the decorum such nominee has to maintain.

That's what she could tell too, that her comment doesn't apply to all third world migrants, but only a small proportion of ones who are illegal and have crime records. You realize the actual number of white people who are white supremacists is actually a very small proportion of the total white people there are. Just like there are illegal third world migrants in this country.

The only difference is she said 'MOST' and I said exclusively about white supremacists.
