Tammineni Maintains Restraint On CBI Probe!

Andhra Pradesh assembly speaker Tammineni Sitaram is known for his aggressive approach towards his rivals.

He doesn’t even think about his position as a speaker, when he wants to attack anybody.

His comments against judiciary for issuing a series of negative orders against the government became national headlines.

Even very recently, Sitaram said the time had come for the people to revolt against judiciary and if Jagan breaks his silence, it will create tremors in the country.

As he predicted, Jagan launched an aggressive attack on judiciary and it certainly created tremors in the judicial and media circles in the country.

But suddenly, Sitaram appeared to have mellowed down, a day after the high court ordered a CBI inquiry into the adverse comments made by him and others on the judiciary.

Sitaram told reporters that he would not like to make any comment on the high court order and said he would wait and see what the CBI would investigate.

Surprisingly, Sitaram said there was a healthy trend in politics of Andhra Pradesh.

“It is good that the opposition has taken a stand in favour of Amaravati as the capital and the government in favour of three capitals. If they go to the elections on this capital plank, it is good for democracy. The people will decide what they want,” he said.
