హైదరాబాద్‌: హయత్‌నగర్‌ కార్పొరేటర్‌పై స్థానికులు దాడికి పాల్పడ్డారు. వరద ప్రభావిత ప్రాంతాల్లో పర్యటిస్తున్న కార్పొరేటర్‌ సామ తిరుమలరెడ్డిపై స్థానికులు చేయి చేసుకున్నారు. రంగనాయకులగుట్టలో నాలా కబ్జాకు గురవుతుందని.. ఎన్నిసార్లు ఫిర్యాదు చేసినా తిరుమలరెడ్డి పట్టించుకోవడం లేదంటూ మండిపడ్డారు. ఇళ్లలోకి వర్షపు నీరు చేరుతుందంటూ కార్పొరేటర్‌ను నిలదీసిన కాలనీవాసులు.. ఆయనపై దాడికి పాల్పడ్డారు. ఈ ఘటన స్థానికంగా సంచలనం సృష్టించింది. స్థానికులతో తిరుమల్ రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతుండగా.. వెనక నుంచి వచ్చిన ఓ మహిళ ఆయన చొక్కా లాగేందుకు ప్రయత్నించింది. నాలా గురించి ప్రశ్నిస్తూ ఆయనను ముందుకు వెళ్లకుండా అడ్డుకుంది. తక్షణం స్పందించిన స్థానికులు... ఆమెను అక్కడి నుంచి దూరంగా తీసుకువెళ్లారు. దీంతో అక్కడి పరిస్థితి అదుపులోకి వచ్చింది.

Hyderabad : Good news for those who have illegally constructed their houses as the state government has decided to regularise them without an hitch. A decision to this effect was taken by the Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao at a meeting on Monday. It is reliably learnt that the file pertaining to this was cleared by him after signing it before leaving for New Delhi late on Monday night. He has accepted the proposal to introduce Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) by making amendments to Building Penalization Scheme (BPS) of Town Planning Act of GHMC within the city limits.  

It may be recalled that the existing BPS scheme introduced by the erstwhile united government through GO No.419 was struck off by the High Court in 1998. Later, it was reintroduced by the then Congress government during YSR regime in 2008 by issuing a special ordinance which expired on June 12, 2013. Since then thousands of applications for regularisation have been pending for clearance with the town planning   department in GHMC. 

The Telangana state government soon after it assumed power wanted to reintroduce BPS system to clear pending applications. But it wanted to make certain amendments to Building Regulation Act (BRA) besides Urban Development Authority Act in GHMC and AP Municipal Act. Since the exercise is already on which may take some more time to complete the process, the authorities have proposed the Penalization Scheme (BPS). It is now awaiting clearance from the legal department. The legal process is expected to complete within a day or two after which the government would release a GO to this effect. The state government is expected to earn at least 1000 crore through regularisations in GHMC limits alone.

HYDERABAD: The State government on Monday issued orders setting a two-month deadline for regularisation of unauthorised buildings and buildings constructed in violation of sanctioned plan. The BPS and LRS have been introduced after a gap of about eight years. This is the last opportunity to regularise unauthorised buildings in the State. Buildings constructed in violation of the sanctioned plan will face stringent action, including criminal cases, in the future, Minister for Commercial Taxes T Srinivas Yadav said. The orders have come into force with immediate effect and are applicable to the entire State including the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation..
