It’s just matter of time before all banks starts charging for cash deposits, it would be called as cash handling fee. 
 

This is not a new proposal but it has been on the cards for 20 years now. If people claim this is part of DeMo and etc, No it is not. Chidambaram when he was Finance Minister, presented the same charges in Annual Budget and then rolled back.
