We are pleased to announce that H.R.1044 is not in the House version of the omnibus bill. Although it is not officially over yet, i.e. the congress is still in session, this has been a significant milestone. The senate has the power to add the S.386 language to the bill and we have to be vigilant about it; however, that is a very unlikely scenario. 

Now, everyone can understand the necessity of having a professionally-made plan. Our success so far has been the result of: 
✔️Having information and strategies provided by our lobbyists in D.C.
✔️Our grassroots meetings with House and Senate offices
✔️Phone call campaigns
✔️and Outreach to academic institutions. 
The aforementioned points along with the talent and hardwork of our extraordinary members put us in this situation where we are punching above our weights, withstanding a misled army backed by unlimited Big Tech dark money.

📍We still need to be vigilant, monitor the developments closely, and act accordingly. Doing so requires constant communication and information from our representatives in DC. 

However, one thing that we are confident about: This unfair legislation would come back immediately in 2021 even if we end this Congress successfully. Proponents of the bill, given their experience in the last few years, will come back stronger and more prepared to push for its passage immediately. Among the advocates of this legislation, just a petty (harassment) group  has already raised ~$500K for next year. 

🔰We will do everything we can to make sure H.R.1044 is dead in this congress and in the next one. So we need to keep fighting. As we did in this Congress, All of Us will lead this fight with your help, and on your behalf. Here is a more detailed explanation of the role we played  and how we operate -- All of Us and MPAG-- in the fight against H.R.1044 in the last two years.

💰To start our fight for the next year, we are launching our biggest fundraising campaign for the goal of $40,000 which will be used for our lobbying expenditure (see the record of our previous expenditure here). We will evaluate the MPAG’s advocacy performance based on the their achievements and your valuable feedback (the results of the survey we conducted in October 2020). We will also carefully check our other options for public awareness. All your suggestions and inputs in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Ultimately, we will come up with the approach to raise awareness in the next Congress. Rest assured the details and reasoning behind the decision will be shared with you.
