Problem entante as long as they had APMC middle men they had the luxury of selling them for MSP. Well we don't have a particular law for MSP but ee mandis undadam valla atleast that was guaranteed. New law lo they can go directly to consumers or corporates antaru, plus they removed restrictions of hoarding by corporates. Hoarding restrictions teeseste competitive pricing ki oka limit undadu. This makes the game very ugly mainly because it will lead to mass privatization. Mana farmers ki aah range tactics telvayi, price regulation undadu kabatti nexus leni farmers will be heavily effected. Farmers want the government to be accountable to MSP, government doesn't want to take that responsibility. 20 minutes ago, NiranjanGaaru said: Punjab, haryana farmers became rich due to this mandi system and FCI(food corporation of India)used to buy lot of wheat, this mandi system is not there in cow belt states in North India and South lo kuda government bane buy chestadi from farmers (but not upto the mark) , so overall chusthe e bills will affect farmers in long term and help corporates like ambani and adani, anduke parliament lo voting lekunda pass chesaru, MSP should be there otherwise bihar la avthadi Punjab, haryana farmers parsthithi, bihar lo already lepesaru mandi system, corporates buying from farmers with less prices Naaku antha teliyadu e bull gurinchi details kanidi enti nate farmers are rich in Punjab not because of fertile lands and this policy will make them poor because of this govt policy?? I don't see the destruction of apmc to have benefited bihar. you can say it has led to destruction of cereal production in bihar. but then I wouldn't make such claims since I don't know what bihar was producing before 2006. conclusion: taking away apmc isn't some catch all solution to improve productivity. Punjab that uses/abuses the apmc system has better yields than the 'competitive' bihar farmers. lol. Quote
