Nizamabad MP calls protesting farmers ‘brokers’

reforms is an ongoing process. lol. Not a dictat fom above.

this bullshit BJP assholes, and their chamchas are sickening.

sure agri procurement needs reforms, but who should bear the brunt of those reforms is the question.

veellu evarini adigi pass chesaru bill? one fine day I read about this on twitter, and then called my cousin to make delusional plans for starting an agri commodity trading exchange. Its still a great idea, if one can bring in new tech to help farmers improve their yeilds and find the right price.

reforms should be in that direction. how to make the market more efficient. And should involve all stakeholders. especially the farmers.

The state that makes use of MSP has the most efficient agricultural system, atleast in India. haha....

fruits and veggies aa.. em maatladthunnarandi. in what way bihar growth rate is higher than punjab?

punjab, and may be tamilnadu are the only states that have come close to global yields in rice. bihar is at the bottom probably among Indian states. I don't see the destruction of apmc to have benefited bihar.

you can say it has led to destruction of cereal production in bihar. but then I wouldn't make such claims since I don't know what bihar was producing before 2006.

conclusion: taking away apmc isn't some catch all solution to improve productivity. Punjab that uses/abuses the apmc system has better yields than the 'competitive' bihar farmers. lol.

you are wrong. shekar gupta video post chesa watch it he compared the agri growth of bihar and punjab

agri growth ante rice only kaadu

i am saying agri growth you are saying rice yield and there lies the difference. growing rice will give least returns in agri unless ofcourse govt buys it like in punjab

sare inka deni lo bihar top lo undi.. cheppu. I'll dig that data. lets see if the magic pill of removing msp has created wonders in bihar, compared to punjab.

I have no interest in watching shekhar gupta's videos.

don't say veggies and fruits. they were never under essential commodities protection act.

agri growth is immaterial. you bring large parts of the state under cultivation, obviously your production will improve. It has nothing to do with the efficiency of the procurement system.

comparing yields doesn't mean apmc is better, ofcourse. Just that Punjab is way better... not even close to bihar. and bihar shouldn't be  even in the discussion for beating down punjab's achievements in agriculture. No indian state should be.

all you have to do is just tell me which 'essential commodity' production is more efficient in bihar, to prove your point. ANd I'll simply check if you are right, and acknowledge your point if you are.

agri growth is useless metric.

haha.. that's what I'm saying. The guys who use MSP seem more efficient in producing their stuff.

looks like the 'market' in India is inefficient. No wonder productive farmers don't want to deal with the market without sufficient protections.

are you gonna listen to the smartest most productive farmers or mediocre ones about how to go forward? lol.
