Not necessarily. If this is true, no one would want to do more in life. Sometimes there is happiness in pain, sometimes there is happiness in struggle. The journey itself is often more beautiful than the destination. Whether you see happiness in it or not depends on you... In other words, how you see the world depends on your state of mind.  So your happiness is also a state of mind. If you want to be happy, you will find a reason to.

It is true.

But human nature is to keep the quest going. Ee daaham teeranidi. One challenge after the other.

Well, there is nothing wrong on keeping the quest alive. Like I said the journey is more beautiful than the destination. So if you enjoy the journey, daaham teerika poyina badha anipinchadu. After all, whether you want to be happy or not is your choice to make.

Its subjective. In my case, I reckon happiness is a temporary state of mind. Its not a final destination.

On any given day, I'm happy for some hours and not so much during the rest. Its completely normal and okay with it.
