I worked for 3 days washing stuff at a coffee shop. at the end of the 3rd day, the owner gave me $15 as tip money. I was very young, and confused what tip was. because I've never tipped.

I didn't go to work next day. 3 weeks later that owner came looking for me, and asked why I didn't turn up. I didn't know what to say. He asked if anyone said anything to me. I said no. He then wished me all the best, and left. such a nice guy. but still giving me indirect tips was insulting.

Pizza delivery guys like make $5 an hour plus tips. Their entire living is on tips. One guy was 36 and delivering pizza. I asked him if he had a real job and he told me that he doesn’t care about much other than playing video games in his life. All he did for many years was deliver pizza and play video games. Really played life on easy mode.

joke cheyyaku. you received tips kadha.. did you keep it all for yourself or did you share it?

I got tips one day, without ever being a waiter. I was just cleaner boi in kitchen. I'm too ugly to be a waiter anyway

Yes that is true. Tips baga vache jobs lo salaries chala takuva istharu ... and people feel happy if they are tipped like uber drivers, restaurant workers and the like.. ekkada vallu life lo peddaga kastapadakunda chuskuntaruga if nothing comes by, they leave it on the govt for survival.. HS lo students ki seriousness on life em undadhu akkadi nunche start avthundi vallaki e mentality.. 

that guy might be single or living with a working gf or wife.. kids vasthey appudu music starts

Nenu work chesindhi oka small local deli type shop lo andhulo max 2-4 members per shift.. cooks ledhu em ledhu .. but oka jar lo tips vachevi a shift lo work chesina vallu share cheskuntaru .. i was never a waitress  but oka similar 8 hr shift standing job chesanu kabatti a pain ento telusu and i tip when i dine in for that reason..
