I think that's not true bro , as yiu have not applied 485 yet, even for those who applied and FAD becomes current mixed opinions unayi 

There is a question I think have yiu ever applied immigrant visa details adi niku blank untadi so nonissue

from what I read , If you changed employer then that 1 year rule doesn't apply. If not then it's true that you will have only 1 year time to apply for 485.

I-140 updated to premium: 06/16/2021
I-140 approved:06/25/2021
Biometric not received yet ( told it was reused for EAD)

Not sure we will get Biometric for I-485 or not.
