I think it helped in my case.. I had an issue with my dependent’s 485.. we requested them to reconsider.. that petition stayed pending for 2.5 years.. August lo senator request pettanu.. got a standard response.. but after few weeks they approved our request and the 485 was reopened… 

nov lo andariki rfe medicals, separate ga vachayi to send it to different locations.. got approval earlier this month..
