Exactly...remember 2021, when 70k visas were gone to the drain? ofc the next years full usage was due to Biddu admin taking off public charge ruling and waiving off interviews. The ability of us desis getting numbers is purely limited by the amount of interviews field offices can conduct.

But most ppl in 2014 already interviewed and waiting for visa number. That would reduce some burden to field offices

As mentioned above…thy just need to conduct interviews…can be quicker or slower depending on what the administration decides….no need of any additional rules.
