Popular Post ForEverJava Posted April 4, 2022 Popular Post Report Posted April 4, 2022 My GC journey ..pretty long and tiring..thnx every one for reading patiently 2005 August: entered country on B1 2005 November: returned to India 2006 Jan : First h1b stamping 2006 April : First time landed in country on h1b 2007 Feb: lost contract and wondering .struggled with finding new project 2007 March : found ne project and with grit found a FTE in few months..probably biggest mistake as I should have started my GC with small employer instead went to FTE with big MNC consulting type Missed blanket labor buying and missed many chances to get PD earlier due to lack of knowledge and careless about Gc that age and enjoying American life.. 2009 June: pushing hard yo start GC ..company pushed hard saying they have to delay to recession and and long labor perm Delays and audits 2010 april: perm initiated 2011 march: finally perm approved and got the priority date 2012 march: missed PD in visa bulletin by few months and never knew my turn again come in 8 plus years later 🙂 2013 july: job change second perm initiated 2014 june : 2nd i140 about to be filed and company gone of business and job change 2014 july: new job and wait to start my 3rd perm fought hard with employer start perm asap 2015 october: my priority date become current and visa bulletin reversed in 20 days ..again misfortune but anyway no regrets as my perm. not ready yet 2016 Jan: 3r perm approved and 2 and i140 filed and approved in premium 2019 sep: job change again but decided not to start gc this time as lost passion for gc and thought worst case will go back to prev employer 2020 sep job change : thinking will go for career advancement but badluck .haunts. 2020 Oct visa bulletin. Current so another job change to go back prev employer 2020 October: finally 485 filed thought all happy 2020 December 28th : 485 was rejected for no reason 2020 December 31st : field another 485 on the last day of being current 2021 feb: 485 receipt notice 2021 may: biometric notice 2021 june ead ap issued 2021 August: 485j approval 2021 September: received golden words card production notice but again badluck wife one kept on same status not updated 2021 november: spouse case in interview queue 2022 march: interview scheduled 2022 April: finally received gc approval for wife Awaiting card for wife so i can move on to next phase of life.. It's my interest and wanted to share how my cruel waiting of GC probably some of u may get earlier or later but it's intense waiting and test of sheer patience ..I saw some of my colleagues suffer through life changes in last 20 years some could survive some could not ..some got GC similar times with me ..some left to India some settled in business in India some and got citizenship few years back..
