Another interesting observation from today's released quarterly data is number of denials %. 

Almost 10% of 485 applications were denied which seems high.

I hope you are right, but I am assuming they count the application as received only after they issue receipt number. The cases you mentioned don't even get receipt numbers. Applications rejected for form errors even before issuing receipt numbers are most probably not considered as denials.

You are right... ‘rejection’ is different from ‘denial’. But, rejection chesina vatiki kuda receipt numbers istharu. So, that 10% includes both rejections+denials

Oh ok. Didn't knew that even the form errors rejected cases were also getting receipt numbers.
