I am not upto date on all gc related stuff. my cousin filed i485 in this time frame. He changed job after 6 months and just filed some J form from new company. Okkasari kanuko. He just got his gc last week. i agree with i140 i485 processing time, u will be stuck for 6-12 months. Beyond that, i dont see a reason
