Floida lo major (90%) biggest electricity generating company. Not distributor. Yesterday sell off due to NEP reduced outlook. Not NÉE. At the same time sell off happened in the utility sector due to increased probability of one more interest rate hike and bond rates increase. Basically people invest in utility stocks for standard 3 to 5% dividend income and they are defensive to market fluctuations. Unlike current scenario where people flocking to much secured bond markets compared to debt ridden utility companies.

it is a long term investment at this time.

Yeh utility sectors are one of the best to invest. They usually have a very standard decent growth with 3-5% Div. This stock fell so much in last few days.

It might be a good pick up with great div yields down the lane at these prices.

I will look more into it.

at current prices Pfizer (PFE), Verizon (VZ). MMM is good too but has a lot of corporate governance issues. It might drop a little more. Even PFE and VZ might drop more if market falls. But you can start accumulation from now.

Pfizer last one year lo negative..

Guys, PYPL & AT&T stocks are low in 5yrs rate.

I am seriously planning to enter now, Please throw some light ? any advises? or your research? thoughts?

I did my due diligence here, it seems pretty good opportunity for next 2-3yrs.

I also bought in. But couldn’t go heavily.

T is loosing business to TMUS. VZ also same boat. Once market leaders now these two companies barely surviving on old customer base and some internet business. If TSLA starlink becomes widely available it might be beginning of ending for cable based internet providers

Paypal - Technically seems at a decent level. Has strong support around 40. But its been a falling knife since long time. Lots of shorts. New CEO is a positive and lots of expectations from him and integrating paypal with other businesses. I have used paypal but never understood how they make money. If its through a % of transaction their margins are very less compared to V or MasterCard. They are still trading at 16X. V is at 29. I would still buy V compared to paypal.

Also with new age payment methods, and zoom kinda tools, Paypal is struggling to find foot in todays business.

T is a good buy at these levels. I have some T. I plan to add more at these levels. One of the reason VZ and T lost so much is because of the inroads T mobile has made into their areas. T still gives decent dividend.
